Minneapolis Breakfast Club

Get the IT Services You Need with Signature Consultants

It’s a warm morning in Minneapolis, but it didn’t stop Hall of Famer Dick Anderson from arriving first, followed by coffee at 6:08 AM.

Today’s meeting was called to order by Vice President Robbie Danko with a ring of the bell, a moment of silence, and a story about how you can’t lead without listening.

Today’s guests were Spencer Smith and Davis Ellingson from the IT staffing firm of Signature Consultants, and Jeff Rabkin of Wowza.

Our honorary members in attendance were Russ Bremner, Mark Simon, and Martin Peyer.

The annual golf outing is this Monday, June 19th at Forest Hills Country Club. Click here for a map to the Country Club. Remember, there’s still time to sign up your group of four if you click here. Feel free to bring a door prize with you as well!

Craft Talk dates are still open for 2017.  Please check the schedule or contact Craig Blixrud to volunteer your company!

We have a 2018 Craft Talk sign-up sheet being circulated to get Craft Talks scheduled and added to the club’s new website. Lock in your preferred spot when you sign up today!

Our meeting on June 28th will be held OFFSITE at the State Capital in St. Paul, hosted by Jim Erickson of Solomon Strategies Group for breakfast and a tour of the building.

Randy Korn of Houselift Remodeler needs a lot of help (have you heard he needs carpenters)?

Dan Westberg of Low Voltage Companies made a plea for electrical contractors who are looking for apprentices.

Blaize Evans with HBC Janitorial let us know that his company strips and waxes floors as well as cleaning carpets.

Martin Peyer is advocating for Montessori Schools; please give him a call if you know of someone thinking of starting one.
