Minneapolis Breakfast Club

Your Solution for Commercial Real Estate Needs

Doors opened at 6:30 AM today and there was a crowd outside looking for coffee.  First in the doors were Robert Sanberg, Dick Anderson, and Jon Peterson.

President Kelsey Wolter called the meeting to order with a ring of the bell and at long last, some jokes!

Today’s guest was Bala Guntipalli, VP of Technology and Operations for Tech Velocity Partners brought by Jerry Olson.  Our Honorary Members in attendance were Mark Simon, Martin Peyer, and Dick Lindskoog.

Announcements for today; This year’s Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, June 18th at Forrest Hills Country Club. Start lining up your foursomes, we’ll have room for 36 of them.  The Woman’s Club has informed us that the doors will not be open before 6:30 AM.  So, those wishing to be early birds will have to line up outside and rush the doors at that time.  Russ Bremner suffered some broken ribs in a fall on his driveway. He will be at home recuperating.

Erik Schindler is hosting USA Hockey’s National Tournament at the Plymouth Ice Garden this week.  Tom Ashbaugh says former member, Marty Nergaard, says “hello”.  Tom Whaley explained how a tweet from the St. Paul Saints generated an immense amount of publicity and only cost him $10,000 (he could have done it for $12).  There is a Board meeting today.

This Week’s Craft Talk

Mike’s business is all things commercial real estate, buying, selling, leasing, and property management.  They also have a property management business and Mike’s favorite, business brokerage.

Mike has three of his four sons working in the business, so it seems the Palm Brothers are getting the band back together in a new generation as Mike, his father Rueben, and Mike’s brother operated Palm Brothers for many years in the Twin Cities.

Coldwell Banker Commercial-Griffin did over $50M in sales last year with the largest sale being a $9.8M office building in Roseville.  He also helped Club members Dick Nelson, Mark Simon, Dick Lindskoog, and Tom Donnelley last year.

Give Mike a call for all your commercial real estate needs or business brokerage needs.

Please Register for next week’s Pot of Gold with Mike Palm by email to mpalm@cbcgriffin.com or by phone at 612-819-0706.
