Minneapolis Breakfast Club

Resultants for Business: The Team Behind Your Team

It was expected to be a dreary day today as the club gathered at Elsie’s in NE Minneapolis to try out a new place for breakfast.  Lots of good company and a good turnout brightened up the day.

President Kelsey Wolter called the meeting together with a ring of the bell, moment of silence, and a good joke.

Our guest today was Paul Moen of Resultants for Business, brought by Jerry Olson to assist with his craft talk.

Honorary members in attendance were Ron Britz, Russ Bremner, Martin Peyer, and Dick Lindskoog.

Next week’s meeting will be in Golden Valley at the Brookview Golf Course.

There is a Board Meeting after today’s craft talk.

On May 2nd we’ll be meeting at the State Capitol for breakfast and a mock committee hearing with special guests.

This year’s Breakfast Club Golf Outing is June 18th at Forest Hills Country Club.

Don Thiets still has room at his table for a charitable luncheon next Tuesday, April 24th from 12-1PM.  Contact Don for more info.

The boat cruise is planned for August. No date yet but the boat is filling up rapidly!

Tom Ashbaugh gave us a rundown on discussions with The Woman’s Club on the cost of meeting there. That’s the driver as to why we’re out meeting at different venues. Please direct any feedback to the Board Members.

This Week’s Craft Talk

Jerry lives in Red Wing, MN and has been married for 37 years. He and his wife have five adult children and one grandchild.

Jerry obtained a degree from the U of M in Agronomy and never looked back. He never worked in agriculture either. He has been a business consultant for the last 22 years. If you follow his advice, you will feel better, look better to your spouse, be more successful, and in general have an improved life.

Resultants for Business (RFB) was established in 1999 by Steve and Terri Wilcox, a husband and wife co-entrepreneur team who have started, owned, managed, and sold multiple businesses during their 35+ year career. They discovered that no consulting organization truly understood the unique needs of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-minded leadership teams. So, instead of starting another consulting firm, they pulled together proven principles, tools and systems into a comprehensive package focused on relationships rather than transactions. As a result, RFB has emerged as a unique business advisory firm, with a team of C-Suite experienced facilitators serving entrepreneurs as a catalyst for breakthrough growth.

Our unique strength lies in our “fearless facilitation” and our ability to dramatically shift a company’s value by helping teams solve the problems that have them spinning their tires or hitting the ceiling. We call this “Strategic Execution”, incorporating the Entrepreneurial Operating System® and the Value Builder System™. Knowing how to turn vision into executable strategy and complex problems into simple solutions is what differentiates the 10% of successful companies from the rest.

Time for Your Business to Adjust Course?

Every business has obstacles and the journey never goes exactly as planned. However, one thing is certain … what separates the successful CEOs from the unsuccessful CEOs is whether or not they adopt a comprehensive execution process, which is where we come in. More than 100 years of combined business coaching experience has transformed organizations. By providing support at each developmental stage, we can help you strategically plan for the future. We are “The Team Behind Your Team”.

Give Jerry a call to have a conversation on how you can optimize your business value.
