As we drove up to the Edina CC, we noticed a brand-new hearse in the parking lot. Todd Anderson was on his way to deliver the silver “ghost” carrier and stopped by to be the first to arrive. He was followed by Dick Anderson and Mark Arnold.
President Kelsey Wolter brought the meeting to order and presided over her last meeting as president.
Guests: Jim Christenson brought Jeannie Yannarelli of Harmon Inc. Jim Erickson brought Tom Devine, Regent Emeritus of the University of Minnesota.

- Mike Palm had over 50 signed up for the August 8 Boat Cruise. We are trying to have at least 70 sign up so we can get the big boat, Bella Vista. Send Mike an email with your signups.
- Tony Rubin announced that David Goodwyne has agreed to serve as Vice President for the last 6 months of 2018. He will become President in 2019. We will soon have an election to formalize that.

Craft Talk: Jim Erickson, Past Commodore of the Aquatennial in 2004, introduced our craft speaker Commodore Bill McReavy, Jr. of the Minneapolis Aquatennial.
Bill introduced the ambassador group with him. Queen Vanessa Gonzalez, Princess LeAnn Eidahl, Princess Ellie Brimeyer, Captain Kenny Devine, and Captain Quentin Moore.
This group has spent the last year representing the best of Minneapolis and Minnesota throughout the state and even visiting other state festivals.
The “Ten best day of summer” Minneapolis Aquatennial features the Milk Carton Boat Race, Torchlight Parade, and Fireworks.
Commodore Bill presented a medal to our own Dick Anderson for his lifetime community support to sports and his high school.
