Business Updates/Commentary

Much of the early discussion focused on the PPP Program and the availability of funds and why this time around the funds did not get allocated as quickly. Its great to have Bankers and former Bankers in the club to give their perspectives.

Craft Talk

Jim Christianson held a virtual tradeshow with some of his favorite vendors. Dara Page started us off by telling us all about the line of Sharpie Pen products and how Newell has grown over the years. Lon Hembree of Smead talked about filing products and how Smead has grown and changed over his decades with the company. Sharon Roosevelt of 3M did not talk about N95 masks and focused on laminating products for office signs, Flex seal rolls for shipping, and Dry-erase applications for marking items.

All of these vendors offered samples to the club members and contact Jim Christianson if interested.

What a fun meeting with good discussions!
