Craft Talk

Robbie Danko of LVC Companies gave today’s craft talk.

She started with a tribute to David Goodwyne and his many contributions to the success of LVC. He was a great coworker and an exceptional engineer in fire protection and security systems.

Robbie talked about how LVC has altered their business practices and sales approach in the time of the pandemic.

They match up with their customers protocols on PPE and meeting desires. They had a plan for the year for marketing with tradeshows and conferences and that has been replaced with Webinars, mailings, email, and calls.

Customers have been interested in touchless access systems, remote monitoring and maintenance, cloud storage, emergency camera packages, and facial recognition technology.

Robbie closed with a Daryn Kagan quote:

“Bad things do happen in the world, like war, natural disasters, disease. But out of those situations always arise stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.”
