Craft Talk:

Ron Britz, Honorary member, retired banker, and soon to be grandfather of a grandson (he already has a passel of granddaughters) was today’s craft speaker.

Ron recently received a Corvette that he had ordered a year ago. As part of his winter travels he visited the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY, and attended a driving school at the Ron Fellowes School.

Ron’s Corvette is an 8 th generation corvette and the museum had all of the previous models on display as well as special models such as the millionth car produced.

Ron updated us on much of the technology used in the C8 Corvette model which is a mid-engine car. There is an overwhelming amount of electronics and sensors to make a special driving experience.

Ron also had a video of riding in a new Corvette at the driving school where they were taught to drive the car and the best way to corner at higher speeds.

Ron’s Corvette was available for inspection in the parking lot after the meeting.

Please register with Ron Britz at britzraven@comcast.net or 612-670-6098.
