Business Networking: Randy Korn is still looking for a Sales/Design person. Jim Erickson saw John Mac at Lexus of Wayzata, Paul Ralles saw former member Roger Halvorson.
Business Exchange: Dwain Coleman, Tony Rubin, and Jim Erickson shared some business.
Pot of Gold: Paul Ralles drew 5 cards and the big winner was Dwain Coleman.
Craft Talk:
Dick Nelson introduced our craft speaker, Annie Deutscher of Bullseye Media.
Annie is the account manager for the Breakfast Club and is the person who published the newsletter every week via email and posts info on our club website and Facebook. She has been thinking of ways to attract new members and/or guests to our club.
Annie led a discussion that touched on a great number of subjects about growing our club. We discussed in no particular order the following: Time of the meeting, frequency of the meetings, social events, special speaking events, having panels for craft talks, mentorship of members, using social media to attract visitors, using email to invite guests from the members sphere, boost attendance by asking associate members to attend when the member can’t. A number of great ideas were discussed and we will continue this discussion and some actions at following meetings. Please let Annie know your thoughts.
